Baerling is simply formed to offer real, high-quality, (cost)efficient general (legal) counsel services that meet the actual business contractual needs of corporate (SME) clients with activities in China and Europe.
Baerling’s founder, Frank Habets LLM (1984), is at heart a Dutch corporate lawyer (University of Groningen) with extensive experience in the international transaction and advisory practice.
Trained at a renowned law firm in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, formed as a consultant and legal counsel at firms in Shanghai, China.
Frank successfully provides corporations (SME) and executives with strategic advice, helping them to solve their most important problems and achieve their business objectives.
Rooted in Shanghai for over a decade, Frank also speaks the language (Mandarin) and served for many years, prior to the establishment of Baerling, as a member of the board (secretary) of the Benelux Chamber of Commerce in China (Shanghai).
